My wedding is coming up soon. Its going to be on Feb 9 2008. This is my fisrt time writing a blog so bare with me as I try to stumble through this.
I just wanna write about my experience so far, I dont know but I hope this will help other guys wanting to get married.
I have been engaged to my fiance for about one year now. We had been going out for a few years already and then I decided I wanted to propose. It took me a few months just to think up of a way to propose. I finally got my sister and brother in law to help me place tiki torches and candles at the beach on a Sunday night. I also blew up her favorite picture of her and I kissing and had the date written in the pic and framed. I also put little candles and flowers all around it. It kinda looked like a shrine jaja but o well I still went along with it.
I went to go pick up my girlfriend and told her "lets go for a walk on the beach" . When we finally got to the display I had and as she was looking at it I got down on one knee and then suddenly the whole speech I had planned out and practiced for ever was not coming out! I was so nervous and my voice was shaky. I could only get out "will you marry me"?
She said yes of course. So now for the past year the wedding planning has been new and interesting for me. It kinda seems surreal up untill now. We are now a 3 weeks away and I have gotten confirmation from all friends and family that are coming. Now Im getting kinda nervous, kinda excited and just all kinds of emotions.
This experience has been great so far. Its really fun to plan something like this for months and now it all seems to be coming together just fine.
